Friday’s 1.50m two-phase Prix des Communes Genevoises at CHI Geneva was won by Niels Bruynseels (BEL) riding Gancia de Muze (Malito de Reve x Nimmerdor).

Several riders tried to catch Bruynseels' time of 31.72 seconds in phase two, but without succeeding. Closest came Pedro Veniss (BRA) with For Felicila (For Pleasure x Espri), being almost a second slower through the finish line. Third place went to home rider Romain Duguet with Twentytwo des Biches (Mylord Carthago x Kalor du Bocage), fourth place to Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) with H&M Challenge v. Begijnakker Z (Chellano Z x Palestro v. Begijnakker) and fifth place to Martin Fuchs (SUI) with Chaplin (Verdi x Concorde).
