Daniel Deusser (GER) had a great week at this year's edition of CHIO Aachen, and ended up as Leading Rider of the prestigious show.

Daniel helped Germany to the second place in Thursday's Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup, before he went on to win Friday's Grand Prix qualifier RWE Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia and closed off with a second place in Sunday's Rolex Grand Prix. For his achievements, Deusser received the Prize of the Federal Minister of the Interior – a special trophy to the best jumping athlete of the entire show, presented by the Federal Minister of the Interior.

Nineteen points separated Deusser from McLain Ward (USA) on the Leading Rider standings, while Ben Maher (GBR) followed in third.
