Lillie Keenan (USA) and the 11-year-old stallion Opium JW van de Moerhoeve TN (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) won Saturday’s CSI5* 1.40m Indoor Derby, the Van Schijndel Bouwgroep Prize, at the 2025-edition of The Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
"It is great that traditional shows preserve these kind of classes where the crowd gets so involved," Keenan told WoSJ afterwards.
With these images, we take a look back at the action in the Indoor Derby where the riders jump in the main arena, canter through the corridor to one of the warm-up rings for another jump before returning full speed to the main arena to complete the course – all the while cheered on by the audience.
