This week, between 6 to 10 December, CHI Geneva returns for its 2023-edition and on the entry list are some of the world's very best horses and riders.

True to tradition, the 62nd CHI Geneva will take place at Palexpo. An action-packed programme features the 1.60m Le Trophée de Genève on Thursday evening – the first qualifier for the Rolex Grand Prix, the 1.55m Prix des Communes Genevoises on Friday – the second qualifier for the Rolex Grand Prix, followed by the 1.60m Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final in the evening. Saturday’s highlights are the 1.60m Coupe de Genève and the 1.55m Credit Suisse Challenge, while the 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix will be bringing the event to an exciting conclusion on Sunday.

Reigning European Champion Steve Guerdat – a crowd favourite – will of course be in action and on the evening of Saturday 9 December he will receive a special tribute for his individual gold medal in Milan and all his Rolex Grand Slam success. Hopes will also be high for 2019 European Champion Martin Fuchs – Rolex Grand Slam Live Contender – who after his Major victory with Leone Jei at Spruce Meadows in mid-September is in the run for a 500,000 Euro bonus if he can take a second consecutive win.

World number one and reigning individual and team World Champion Henrik von Eckermann will be defending his title in the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final on Friday, and his mighty King Edward is among the super-stars on the entry list.

Also lining up are world no. two Ben Maher – reigning Olympic Champion – and 2021 Top 10 Final winner Kent Farrington who currently sits third on the world ranking. Other big names include Scott Brash (GBR) – the only rider to have ever won the Rolex Grand Slam-title, as well as Julien Epaillard (FRA), Harrie Smolders (NED), Conor Swail (IRL), Marcus Ehning (GER), Daniel Deusser (GER), Kevin Staut (FRA) and Gregory Wathelet (BEL).
