Born 2020, Kiev de la Tour is a stunning son of GFE Candy de Nantuel (Luidam x Diamant de Semilly) and Jade (Cardento x Claudio’s Son).

Kiev de la Tour is a product of the breeding operation ran by Lo&F Horses’ Iñigo Lopez de La Osa Escribano. Breeding horses is Iñigo’s passion and the main goal of Lo&F Horses is to breed and produce horses for the top sport. Approved at Zangersheide in 2023, this season is Kiev de la Tour’s first as a breeding stallion. 

Iñigo Lopez de La Osa Escribano discovered Kiev’s mother Jade – who represents the Holstein 890 lineage, family of Casall and Berlin - as a young horse and the mare went on to compete at the highest level with Spain’s Sergio Alvarez Moya. Currently, Jade competes with Monaco’s Iñigo Lopez de la Osa Franco and the two took part at the 2023 youth European Championships in Gorla Minore, Italy. Kiev’s sire GFE Candy de Nantuel is active on the highest level with France’s Penelope Leprevost. 

With his tall frame – measuring 1.69m – Kiev seems to have inherited his father’s scope and attitude. Kiev has a huge, adjustable stride and an exceptional balance. Mature for his age, Kiev jumped flawless throughout the BWP stallion competition, showing great potential and standing out from the rest with his intelligence, scope and natural carefulness. With his classic look, Kiev de la Tour is a versatile stallion and an interesting choice for many different types of mares, bringing in size, scope and balance.
