Created in 2005 by Xavier Marie, the Haras de Hus closes its breeding activities with an exceptional sale on Tuesday, June 11, starting at 9 a.m. More than 300 lots will be auctioned: all the horses except Djembe and Dorian Gray de Hus, but also all the glitter owned by the stud and all the embryos! So it’s a busy day in Petit Mars where everyone is welcome, with the possibility to bid online as well.
For nearly 20 years, Xavier Marie and his teams have built a real success story!
The first was in dressage with the stud horse’s rider, Jessica Michel, who made a name for herself at the London Olympics with Riwera de Hus, who also won a bronze medal at the World Championships for young horses and countless French championship titles.
In addition, Haras de Hus gives the opportunity to Kevin Staut to became world number one and to win a silver medal for France at the Lexington World Championships with Silvana. Conrad de Hus also made his way through haras de Hus by winning an individual silver medal at the European Championships in Aachen.
During all these years, stud farms continued to enrich their mare’s catalog by trying to bring together the best maternal lineages. This concept has borne fruit since many products evolve at the highest level in the four corners of the world, trade having always been one of the priorities of the stud farm.
This will continue to be the case on Tuesday 11 June for this total sale of the herd, which will begin at 9 a.m. with 142 batches of stallion’s straw which have been distributed by the stud or which had been acquired by the stud for its own mares before 7 batches of frozen embryos.
The first horses will pass under the hammer at 10:30 a.m. while all the dressage horses will start at 11:30 a.m.
A small catering service will be provided on site for those present. It will also be possible to participate in this special sale by placing your bid online.
