The horses from the 2025 collection were shown LIVE by the VDL Stud on the 18th February at Wellington International. Since that moment the trials have been in full flow. With just a couple of days to go there is still a chance to try your favourite, request X-Rays, register to bid online or book your spot to be there live at the auction on Thursday 27th February from 7pm (American time).

The VDL Stud is renowned worldwide as a breeding station, horse breeders, horse dealers and supporters of the sport; they have built a fantastic reputation in the 53 years that they have been active since founder Wiepke van de Lageweg started.

This years collection were jumped live in Wellington for the public. These videos have been added to the website for you to watch back. VDL Obsession is a 6 year old son of top producer Carrera VDL. Maybe you missed him as he was a late addition to the collection, he displayed his incredible athleticism during the presentation. He’s with one endless possibilities for the top sport.

VDL O What A Girl is a 6 year old daughter of the famous Bacardi VDL. She is a real pleasure to deal with, to watch and to ride. This mare was also a competitor at the Young Horse World Championships last year in Lanaken.

VDL Omthago a 6 year old son of rising star Comthago VDL. He is a very impressive jumper who has already produced some special results. He was a finalist of the Young Horse World Championships last year in Lanaken and finished in 8th place.

VDL Icarronne is a 12 year old mare by Carrera VDL. She brings a lot of experience with her. She has competed at 1.50m level with some of the best in the business, the Van der Vleuten family and is therefore ready to boost your career!
