Thomas Ryan (IRL) and the 10-year-old Jezebeau BC (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Vancouver d’Auvray) won Sunday’s CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix presented by KASK at the Toscana Tour in Arezzo, Italy.
With a time of 39.86 seconds in a jump-off of three, the Irish rider took the top honours ahead of Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) and Polonis L (Le Blue Diamond Van’T Ruytershof x Andiamo) in second in 43.79, while four faults in 37.69 left the host nation's Giacomo Bassi (ITA) on Cash du Pratel (L’Arc de Triomphe x Feofar de Rhodes) to third.
Johanna Beckmann (GER) and Alphajet DB (Arpeggio x Cornet Obolensky) finished fourth as the fastest four-faulters from round one, followed by Celine Schoonbroodt-De Azevedo (BEL) aboard Deesse des Embruns (Mylord Carthago x Orame) in fifth.
