Leading the way from start to finish, France's Julien Epaillard and his home-bred Donatello d’Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) took the title at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025 in Basel, Switzerland, after topping the overall standings from Wednesday’s first round and throughout the rest of the competition. With only a rail down on the last line during the concluding round in St. Jakobshalle, Epaillard kept his competitors at a distance – securing the victory when being three penalty points away from runner-up Ben Maher (GBR) and third placed Kevin Staut (FRA).
“We are very proud; he is like family to us,” Epaillard said of Donatello d'Auge already on Thursday after topping the first round of competition in Basel, and the love showed on Sunday as Epaillard could celebrate his first major title together with his wife Susana – the breeder of Donatello d'Auge – and their family and friends.
With these images, we send our congratulations to Epaillard's team at Haras de la Bosquetterie!
