Press release from the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship A Coruña 2025

The FEI Jumping European Championship of Casas Novas launches its official website with all the competition information: www.casasnovasfeijumping2025.com

The new digital platform will be the main source for news, information, schedules, and other essential details about the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship A Coruña 2025. The event, which promises to be one of the most important in the show jumping calendar, will take place at the Casas Novas Equestrian Center from July 16 to 20. This will be the third FEI Jumping European Championship held in Spain. The competition was previously held in Gijón in 1993 and in Madrid in 2011. Now, in 2025, A Coruña joins the list of host cities for this prestigious sporting event.

The competition

Held every two years, the competition is considered one of the most important events on the international equestrian calendar and will bring together the best riders from across the continent at Casas Novas. This will be the third time the championship is held in Spain—following Gijón in 1993 and Madrid in 2011—and the first time both in Galicia and in the province of A Coruña. This designation places it alongside other host cities of this prestigious event, such as Milan, Rotterdam, Gothenburg, and Windsor, among others.

Casas Novas Equestrian Center

Inaugurated in 2000 in Larín (Arteixo, A Coruña), Casas Novas is one of the most renowned equestrian centers in the world. With exceptional facilities, it hosts top-level competitions both in summer and winter— the latter being part of the World Cup since 2016—and has become a must-visit destination for the top figures in show jumping.

For this reason, the International Equestrian Federation selected it last year as the host venue for the 2025 Jumping European Championship following reports from both the Show Jumping Committee and the European Equestrian Federation.

This summer, the Casas Novas Equestrian Center will open its doors to a unique event that combines the discipline of this sport with an unparalleled leisure experience in a privileged setting.
