This week, the 2025-edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Shanghai welcomes a line-up of 52 riders from around the globe to the Shanghai Juss International Equestrian Center, located at the Expo Park in Shanghai, China.
The entry list for the third LGCT-stage of the 2025-season includes the defending LGCT Grand Prix of Shanghai champion Gilles Thomas (BEL), last year’s runner-up Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) and third-placed Michael Duffy (IRL).
Joining them are some of the biggest names in the sport, such as world number one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), three-time LGCT Champion Ben Maher (GBR) and reigning LGCT Champion Max Kühner (AUT). With over 20 of the riders in Shanghai having won a LGCT Grand Prix before, it's all to play for as the star-studded list continues with Daniel Deusser (GER), Janne Friederike Meyer Zimmermann (GER), Simon Delestre (FRA), Scott Brash (GBR), Philipp Weishaupt (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), Pieter Devos (BEL) and Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) – among others.
