The Westphalian Studbook warmly invites all horse enthusiasts to the Westphalian Week 2025. This traditional breeding organisation is the origin of some of the best show jumping horses in the world. Last year at the Olympic Games in Paris, for example, the entire German team rode Westphalian horses. In the end the individual Olympic champion was also a Westphalian horse: Checker by Comme il faut NRW/Come on (breeder: Wolfgang Kipp) with Christian Kukuk in the saddle. The moments in front of the Palace of Versailles remain unforgotten.

The next milestone in Westphalian show jumping breeding followed this year. United Touch S by Untouched S/Lux Z (breeder: Julius-Peter Sinnack) under the saddle of Richard Vogel was unbeatable at the European Show Jumping Championships in A Coruña, Spain. The bronze medal with the German team was followed by the title of individual European Champion after a total of five clear rounds. Never before had the title been achieved with such an overall result.
