International showjumper Abdel Said launches the very first edition of AS Auction – an online sport horse sale taking place on Tuesday 5th of August. Distinctive for AS Auction is that the 18 carefully selected sport horses are all bred and/or trained within Abdel’s own sport stables in Belgium. 

“The first edition will be really exciting, it’s a project I’m truly invested in and have prepared for a long time! The major difference is that we present only AS home-bred horses or extremely promising youngsters we bought for our own stables. We selected and produced each one of them,” Abdel Said explains. 

With top-level sport becoming increasingly competitive, and truly reliable horses harder to come by, AS Auction was created to meet a growing need: A trustworthy, rider-focused way to access quality horses. The online format removes geographical barriers, while the carefully curated catalogue guarantees peace of mind. 

“It’s really hard to find good horses nowadays. With AS AUCTION, we’re offering clients the opportunity to buy from a select group of horses that we personally stand behind — without having to drive all over Europe,” Abdel says.

This auction is the natural next step in Abdel’s career, who has extensive experience with combining top sport with breeding and sales. Abdel has earned a strong reputation for identifying, producing and matching quality horses with ambitious riders – from amateurs to professionals at the top of their sport. 

The 18 horses in this debut edition were all carefully chosen, either from Abdel’s own breeding program, or selected young and developed in-house by Abdel and his experienced team. Raised and trained with consistency and individual care, each horse benefits from in-depth attention and a sport-oriented training. The result is a diverse and highly exclusive group of horses, offering something for every serious buyer.
