Each year, the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses draws the sport’s elite to Lanaken. This year, on 25 September 2025, the championship will once again set the stage for the Zangersheide Quality Jumpers – Powered by MBA.
Following an outstanding debut last year, with references that have already achieved exceptional results on the international stage, the MBA Auction now enters its second edition and is proud to present an even more refined collection, selected with the same uncompromising standards in health, training, and sport aptitude.
When we launched the first edition of the Zangersheide Quality Jumpers Powered by MBA (Melchior - Baackmann - Ahlmann) last year, our aim was to showcase horses of exceptional quality on a stage that truly reflects their potential. Watching that vision come to life and witnessing the first edition confirm everything we set out to achieve, fills us with immense pride and excitement. What makes us especially proud is not only the enthusiasm of our clients, but also the achievements of the horses themselves. Several references from last year’s edition are already making headlines.
The 8-year-old stallion AY CARAMBA Z, who was secured by one of the most trusted partners of Jens Baackmann, had a fantastic season and was placed in the 8-year-old final in Aachen. Also the 8-year-old ECLAIRE Z, won recently the Longines Ranking class at CSI4* Sentower Park with Olympic Champion Michael Jung, and the 7-year-old DOLOMITE Z, who impressed with a win at the British Young Horse Championship, are shining examples. These successes are a true testament to the MBA team’s vision: Connecting exceptionally talented horses with riders who bring out their full potential.

Each horse has been selected with the same care and passion that we devote to our own stables, and we are truly delighted to present them to you in this collection. This year, we have again reserved some of the absolute best horses from our own breeding program, especially for the MBA Auction.

Highlights include BIARRITZ Z, a Grand Prix prospect by Brunetti Z out of Christian’s legendary World Cup mare Comtessa 38; the scopey and talented TALAMANCA Z, a championship prospect from the proven line of Panama du Seigneur; and the outstanding COOL COKE Z, a sporty, competitive mare out of the family of Tabou Z and Corico Z.

FLACCO Z marks a milestone as our very first hunter. He combines outstanding movement and natural balance with elegance and style - a true hunter ring presence.

We are also delighted to present the modern and athletic mare SIA M. This charming mare is light-footed, careful, and a true clear-round machine.
