For its 10th edition, The Youngsters Auction presents an exceptional collection of young showjumping prospects this Tuesday, October 14, during the live auction in Eemnes, The Netherlands. A total of 28 horses will go under the hammer, with bidding available both on site and online via the auction website.
Founders Jasper and Peter van der Waaij are eagerly anticipating the event: “We expect up to 300 guests at the live auction and hope to welcome many online bidders as well. The trials have been going very smoothly, and the horses are showing themselves in top form.”
Live presentation of 4- to 7-year-old talents
The live presentation of all auction horses begins on Tuesday at 5:00 PM CET, followed by the auction start at 8:00 PM CET.
Among the standout talents is the 5-year-old mare Chastina (Chacoon Blue x Stakkatol). “This mare is a true modern sport horse — careful, athletic, and intelligent. She’s closely related to world-class performers such as HH Carlos and Don VHP, which only reinforces her bright future,” explains Peter van der Waaij.
Another head-turner is Oilily Lady, the 6-year-old mare who was crowned Dutch Vice Champion of the 6-year-olds this year. Other promising names include the 6-year-old Augustus, the elegant 6-year-old Contha Quanda Blue, the impressive 5-year-old stallion Conte, and the exceptionally talented 4-year-old Vegas Blue — all worthy of a closer look.
3-year-olds under saddle for the first time
For the first time, The Youngsters Auction will present its 3-year-old horses under saddle. “Many of our international clients are professional riders who appreciate seeing how the young horses go under saddle,” says Jasper van der Waaij. “Each of them has been lightly ridden for six to eight weeks and already shows remarkable potential.”

On Tuesday 14 October, customers from all over the world will be welcomed in Eemnes, The Netherlands – just 30 minutes from the Amsterdam Airport. From 05.00 PM, the live presentation will start and from 07.00 PM, a VIP dinner will be served for the guests of The Youngsters Auction. Trials of the auction horses are possible up to Monday 13 October and VIP tickets are available via the auction website.
