The excellent reputation is the result of first-class work: the 20th Holger Hetzel Sport Horse Sales in Goch, Rhineland, on November 26th, is attracting attention from customers worldwide. Interested parties are practically queuing up to see the 21 horses in the auction collection, which have been available for trial rides since October. It's already clear: the interest is enormous, and this is largely due to the auction's format, its excellent reputation, and the horses themselves. On Sunday, November 23rd, the auction horses will be presented and available for trial rides during a brunch in the arena. All interested people are welcome.
Recognizing the future
In recent years, several excellent show jumping horses from the Hetzel stables in Goch have been sold to new owners. Perhaps the most prominent former auction horse is Beauville Z N.O.P., the top horse of the Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten. In 2016, Beauville Z was part of Holger Hetzel's show jumping horse auction. Now, Beauville Z is a two-time Olympic medallist (bronze in Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024) and Nations Cup Final winner (Barcelona).
Incanto VDL was part of the 2022 auction collection and, ridden by top Brazilian rider Yuri Mansur, is now competing successfully at the international 1.60m level. Show jumper Maurice Tebbel rides two former auction horses from the 2023 collection: Supreme EP and Crazy EP, both of which have impressed with wins and placings in international young horse classes. The list of examples is long and fosters ever-increasing confidence in the quality and expertise of the Holger Hetzel Sport Horse Sales. The focus is always on bringing the right people and horses together. The service doesn't end after the auction; upon request, it also includes transport arrangements, assistance in choosing trainers, training, competition support, and even management.
