Tucked in a quiet corner of Palm Beach Point in Wellington, FL, Natalie Dean’s Marigold Farms is a stunning modern equestrian oasis. With every detail planned for the comfort and convenience of her string of international show jumping horses, the newly constructed estate thoughtfully blends both form and function.
The sleek design of Marigold Farms blends seamlessly with its environment.
Flat rooflines with multiple overhangs blend seamlessly with the environment. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the barn structure allow the Florida sunshine to pour in, flooding lounges and work areas with natural light. Every stall has its own window to the outside world, with views varying from the 10 turn-out paddocks to lush tropical landscaping.
Marigold Farms has 10 turn-out paddocks that run the entire length of the barn.
Wordley Martin, widely considered the premier North American expert in footing and arena construction, collaborated with Dean and her design team to build riding areas and surfaces worthy of her international aspirations.
Sized at 175 x 285 feet, the expansive outdoor arena provides one training option while the covered arena provides relief from the elements when the Florida sun is sizzling or rain is hammering down. In keeping with the facility’s modern aesthetic, the covered arena is sized at a generous 87 x 217 feet and is easy to maintain with a watering system installed underneath.
Encircling the five-acre plus property is a training track ideal for conditioning the horses or simply enjoying a leisurely hack before or after schooling. Over half a mile long, the track provides a change of scenery for both horses and riders while offering optimal footing conditions thanks to Wordley Martin. A 60-foot round pen is another option for getting the horses out of their stalls and using their muscles, integral for the healthy maintenance of any professional equine athlete.

While the estate as a whole is breath taking, it’s the attention to detail and surprising touches – such as the custom entrance gate that closes to form the Marigold Farms logo – that make it truly one-of-a-kind.
