The 2026 edition of CSI4* Mâcon Chaintré at the Château de Chaintré in France kicked off on Thursday with a home win for Alexa Ferrer (FRA) and Vital Horse Fleur d’Oz (Olimbos Merze x Papillon Rouge) in the CSI4* 1.50m presented by Mâconnais Beaujolais Agglomération and Cluny-Mâcon Formations Équestres.
Jumping clear in 62.47 seconds, Ferrer took the win ahead of Benoît Cernin (FRA) and Dynamite du Miral (Nabab de Reve x Alligator Fontaine) in second in 63.20, while Brazil's Marlon Modolo Zanotelli on Fussario d’Boissailles (Ogrion des Champs x Calido) completed the top three in 63.29.
"It's always a pleasure to win in my home region, especially since I've just moved back to Vonnas, only a few kilometers from here,” Ferrer said in a press release from Jumping International de Mâcon Chaintré. “Vital Horse Fleur d'Oz was born here and her current owner is also from the area. It's great to share this together. Normally, Naïade d'Enseldam Z will jump the Grand Prix on Sunday, as Fleur then has two CSI5* competitions on the schedule."
