Press release from Jumping International de Mâcon Chaintré, edited by World of Showjumping
Saturday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix Mon Carton de Vin – a 1.50m class judged under Table A with a jump-off – at Jumping International de Mâcon Chaintré 2026 saw forty-nine horse-and-rider combinations take the start. Before the Mâcon crowd, it was ultimately Dylan Levallois (FRA) on Hawaii Semilly (Comme Il Faut x Diamant de Semilly) who claimed victory with blistering speed, finishing ahead of Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) on Castleforbes Gillian (Kannan x Libero H) and Ireland’s Mark McAuley aboard Clooney van Spalbeek Z (Comilfo Plus Z x Diamant de Semilly) in third.
"I am thrilled to have won with Hawaii tonight,” Levallois said. “I’ve been riding her since she was seven. She is a mare full of energy, with a lot of character. It took us a little while to really click as a pair, but right now, she is simply fantastic. She jumped her first 1.50m course in the Grand National just two weeks ago. Her victory today wasn't exactly expected, but I am absolutely delighted with it. The first round was well-suited to her compact stride. The jump-off was quite flowing; she is so talented and fast that I can afford to really gallop everywhere.”
