World number one Scott Brash successfully defended his Longines Global Champions Tour title in Doha tonight. The 2012 Olympic team gold medalist took fourth place in tonight’s Grand Prix giving him a one point advantage over four-time Olympic medalist Ludger Beerbaum and finishing on the same points as rival Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, who was the eventual class winner tonight with Casall Ask. Due to Scott having more wins than Bengtsson this season, the British rider took home the title.
