Week one of the Z-Tour in Lanaken concluded on Thursday, with the CSI2* Grand Prix going to Katharina Offel. Riding the ten year old Zangersheide mare Air Chin Z (Air Jordan Z x Chin Chin), it was half a home win for the hosts. The Ukrainian rider produced one of six double clears in the class, but was 0.76 seconds faster than runner-up Robert Whitaker on USA Today (Heartbreaker x Capitol I) in the jump-off. Third place went to Ralf Runge on Summersault (Seven Up x Cantus).
