Finally it's vet check day!!! I arrived late Friday evening to Las Vegas and Alien Saturday morning. I took a normal passenger flight and he the charter with all the other European dressage and jumping horses. Kay from Marcus Ehning was looking after Alien on the plane and I think she had fun as he was in a pallet with his half-brother Cornet D'Amour. Both Alien and Cornet like to cause a little chaos and mess but they both looked super happy with themselves when they arrived at the quarantine stables. I dread to see what the pallet was looking like after those two ponies had been in there for over 14 hours with water, hay and mash!

Saturday and Sunday were white suit days. With the quarantine rules here in America the horses must stay inside a sealed stable area for 46 hours after arriving. This means that we have to wear very fashionable white suites to be allowed to enter so that we don't contaminate the area. This of course for us brought much entertainment of wrong fitting suites, graffiti and stripping!!! For these two days the horses can only handwalk in the tent which can be very boring for them, but of course Alien managed to find some enjoyment. Walking around the stable area is a task with Alien as he believes people have kindly placed bales of hay and bags of food and carrots out for him so of course we make very quick diversions to go and visit these areas.

As we were only allowed in the quarantine for certain amounts of time it meant that we had some free time to explore Vegas and the pool!

Monday morning the horses were released!
