The CSIO Young Rider Grand Prix in Deauville went to France’s own Edward Levy on Starlette de la Roque (Jumpy des Fontaines x Kannan). Levy produced one of only two clears in the first round, and was followed Great Britain’s Jake Saywell on Cantho Z (Cumano x Fidji du Fleury) in second. Third place went to another British rider; Abigail Newbery on Valentino (Cavalier x Carthago), who had one time penalty in the first round.

The Junior Grand Prix also went to a French rider; Camille Conde Ferreira on Pirole de la Chatre (Flipper d’Elle x Prince Ig’Or). Camille produced the only double clear round of the class, and left Switzerland’s Emilie Paillot on Caja (Cornet Obolensky x Grannus) behind her in second place. Damien de Chambord – also from France – finished third on Chaplino Alia (Chalan x Sion).

The Children Grand Prix was also dominated by the home riders. Axelle Borel won on Roseau du Marais (Esterel des Bois x Hurelevent), ahead of Elisa Mellec on Sortilege Rumel (Helios de la Cour II x Rosire) – both double clear. Ireland’s Lee Carey ended third on MT Cruise (Cruising x Clover Hill).

The Junior Nations Cup was won by the Dutch team, ahead of France and Switzerland. The Young Rider Nations Cup went to the hosts, while Great Britain ended second and Belgium third.
