Niels Bruynseels secured a home win for Belgium in Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix in Kapellen. Riding Cas de Liberte (Cracky Z x Chellano Z), Niels produced one of seven clear rounds in the class that counted a little over fifty riders to move on to the jump-off.

Against the clock, the Belgian rider had a comfortable two seconds down to runner-up James Paterson-Robinson from Australia riding Athene (Berlin x Numero Uno), while Dutch rider Marc Houtzager followed in third on Sterrehof's Baccarat (Padinus x Silvio I). Fourth and fifth went to two Belgian riders; Gilles Dunnon and Karel Cox.
