The presence of the world class Grand Prix and winning Nations Cup star Dougie Douglas (Ard Vdl Douglas x High Roller) is guaranteed to set this sale alight.

The 2015 Goresbridge Supreme Sale of Showjumpers' collection also includes some extraordinary three-year-olds; and one of them is the full brother to Billy Angelo - Billy Rubens. Also Hilton - by Jur Vrieling's 2015 team gold medalist Zirocco Blue and out of a mare by Marco Kutscher's Grand Prix winner Van Gogh - will be sure to catch many's attention. 

3-year-old licensed stallion by Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve x Kroongraaf.

Billy Rubens is a full brother to Billy Angelo, winner of many international Grand Prix’s and a consistent member of the British Nations Cup team where he has jumped numerous double clears. He comes from the same family as Ellen Whitaker’s prolific winner Ocolado.

Billy Rubens is a licensed stallion with the Anglo European Studbook by the international show jumper Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve. The latter is the sire of some very good international showjumpers such as Taalex (Constant van Paesschen), Bintang II (Laura Renwick), Warrior (Jamal Rahimov) and Victoria (Bassem Hassan Mohammed). 

Billy Ruben is broken and riding under saddle with a lovely temperament. 

3-year-old gelding by Zirocco Blue x Van Gogh.

Hilton is a modern blood sport horse with a super walk, trot and powerful canter. He descends directly from an exceptional family of show jumpers.

His dam Decorette, by Van Gogh x Concorde, is only a 7-year-old and is already competing internationally at 1.45m level. Decorette’s brother Saffier jumps at 1.50m level in Italy with Andrea Benatti. Also from this family are the international show jumpers Noulette (Jenny Jones), Rigolino (Kevin Olsmeyer) and Tornado (Dries Dekkers).

His sire Zirocco Blue is now an established leading show jumper and member of the Dutch Nations Cup Team. This year he won team gold at the Europeans in Aachen, placed 4th in the World Cup Final in Las Vegas, was on the winning Nations Cup Team in Rome and placed 3rd in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. Hilton's dam sire Van Gogh won the 2015 CSI5* Los Angeles Grand Prix, and the 2015 CSI5* LGCT Grand Prix in Valkenswaard with his rider Marco Kutcher. 

3-year-old gelding by Lux Z x Cruising.

His sire Lux Z is one of the most successful stallions in international showjumping. With Jerry Smit, Lux Z participated in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and he won the Pulsar Crown competitions in Valkenswaard and Cannes. This brought Lux Z's total winnings to more than a million euro. Lux Z has numerous famous offspring competing internationally, one of the most famous being H&M Tornesch (Malin Baryard-Johnsson). 

His dam, Tullibards Cruise Magic is by the legendary stallion Cruising. Tullibards Cruise Magic competed at 1.20m level and qualified for the 5-year-old final in Millstreet. Grand dam Tullibards Figaro Girl was a 1.20m show jumper. 3rd dam Koordinate is a sister to the 1.50m show jumper Fundament 2 competed by Gerhard Harenburg (GER) and the 1.35m show jumper Forever B competed by Martina Sandmann(GER). 

Currently unbroken, this gelding is lunging in long reins.

3-year-old gelding by Obos Quality x Coevers Diamond Boy.

Forrest Quality is by the stallion Obos Quality, that himself competed up to international Grand Prix and Nations Cup level with Denis Coakley & Dermott Lennon. Obos Quality has proved himself as an exceptional sire, with offspring such as Castlefield Eclipse (Paul Estermann), Lisona (Darragh Kerrins and Jessica Springsteen), Mark Q (Kevin Babington). Obos Quality's youngsters have been top sellers at auctions for the last three years with high prices achieved. 

Forrest Quality is an unbroken gelding who placed 3rd in the 3-year-old Loose Performance at the Dublin Horse Show.

This is a horse with a great attitude that scored very highly for technique and scope.

Each horse presented for this sale will have received a full five stage veterinary examination from a member of the Goresbridge Veterinary Panel prior to the sale.

A set of digital X-rays taken by a member of the Goresbridge Panel will be available for purchasers to inspect prior to the sale.
