A visionary concept

The three letters P.S.I. – Performance Sales International – represent a visionary concept. Ullrich Kasselmann and Paul Schockemöhle have shared a vision for 40 years now: the vision to breed and prepare exceptional young horses with the talent to compete at international level for equestrian riders and enthusiasts.

Commitment

The World Equestrian Games in Normandy and the European Championships in Aachen demonstrated the extent to which the equestrian sport world has expanded, and many new nations are now represented at top-level international championships. To sustain this trend in future, P.S.I. remains committed to selecting the best young dressage and show jumping horses and to “placing them in the right hands.”

Excellent standards of quality

Mediocrity is a word that doesn’t exist in Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann’s vocabularies, and the P.S.I. auction delivers a comprehensive service package that customers won’t experience anywhere else. It starts out with the selection of the horses by two expert horsemen who know exactly what to look for. “The majority of the auction lots are horses that we have either bred ourselves or bought as foals,” said Paul Schockemöhle. “This means we can start a targeted training programme from day one of their career under the saddle, which helps us to ensure excellent standards of quality.”

Exemplary “curriculum vitae”

Paul Schockemöhle’s Lewitz Stud is a unique source of young talents, complemented by the Kasselmann family’s breeding programme at the Osthoff Stud. Every P.S.I. horse has an exemplary “curriculum vitae” thanks to decades of experience and know-how, plus experienced grooms, riders and handlers.

“Our customers’ success is our motivation"

Style, quality and own-bred horses, professional expertise and first-rate contacts are the foundations of the P.S.I. auction, plus an excellent after-sale service which includes organising the horses’ transportation to anywhere in the world, insurance covering the entire purchase price, comprehensive veterinary documentation and, if required, post-purchase training for the rider and the horse. “Our customers’ success is our motivation,” said Ulli Kasselmann, explaining the principle on which the P.S.I. auction is based.
