Billy Twomey best in Saturday's small Grand Prix at the Sunshine Tour

Billy Twomey was best in Saturday's feature class at the Sunshine Tour. The Irish rider took home the win in the CSI4* 1.45m small Grand Prix aboard the 13-year-old gelding Diaghilev (Vangelis S x Handstreich). 

Twomey was one of 22 riders moving on to the jump-off, and was the fastest one of those staying clear yet again stopping the time on 36.63 seconds. Home rider Eduardo Álvarez Aznar and Fidux (Malito de Reve x Voltaire) got the closest to the winning time, and finished as runners-up in 37.28 seconds. Great Britain's Yazmin Pinchen riding Unesca (Cassini I x Lancier) took care of the third place with a time of 38.07 seconds in the jump-off.
