On Thursday Shane Sweetnam won the opening class at Falsterbo Horse Show riding the Swedish breed Cyklon (Cardento x Cortus) and today the two of them easily won the qualification for Saturday's Falsterbo Derby.

With seven seconds down to runners-up Romain Duguet and Sherazade du Gevaudan (Tinka's Boy x Iargo C), Sweetnam took a convincing win. Third place went to Mario Stevens with El Bandiata B (El Bundy x Picard) and fourth place to Billy Twomey with Diaghilev (Vangelis-S x Handstreich).

It is going to be an exciting derby to take place on Saturday.
