Jumper fans pay attention! You’ll find jumper foals of extra class in the collection of the Elite Foal Auction which will take place on Saturday, August 27th at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta. Among these foals are offspring from sires that played their trumps in Rio such as Cornet Obolensky, For Pleasure and Balou du Rouet.

A guarantee for the future

A guarantee for the future is Congratulation by Cornet Obolensky - Diarado - Landgraf I - Capitol I - Sacramento Song from line 741. This highly successful line is also the origin of the sires Cardento, Quintender, Leandro and Colorit, winner of the German Masters in Stuttgart under Christian Ahlmann, as well as the course aces Lausbub under Achaz von Buchwald, Leonardo under Franke Sloothaak and Olli-Pop with Thomas Kleis in the saddle. Cornet Obolensky, now 17 years old, sired six of the show jumpers at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, three of which qualified for the individual Final. 

French Pleasure from second life

French Pleasure from second life by For Pleasure - Dollar dela Pierre - Jus de Fontaines - Caletto I also promises Olympic glory. His sire For Pleasure was represented by four offspring in the Olympic Games in Rio. Among them was the brand new team gold medal winning Flora de Mariposa under her French rider, Pénélope Leprevost, as well as the team silver medal winner, Barron under his American rider, Lucy Davis. The dam’s sire Dollar dela Pierre won team gold under Reynald Angot at the 2002 World Championships in Jerez de la Frontera with the French team. Great granddam Elise, better known in sport as Roofs by Caletto I, was a highly successful, multi-champion with Jan Tops and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.

There will be other exclusive young cracks with extra class sires at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta such as Vagabond de la Pomme under Pénélope Leprevost, who took second place in the 2015 World Cup of Las Vegas, Balou du Rouet, sire of the Olympic team bronze medal winner, First Class van Eeckelghem ridden by Daniel Deusser, or the leader of the WBFSH Showjumping Sire Rankings 2015, Diamant de Semilly. Also presenting their exclusive offspring in Vechta are the highly successful father-son teams, Voltaire and his son Kannan as well Darco and his son Douglas VDL as well as his son Dallas VDL.
