The hosts dominated Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix of Neumünster sponsored by Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, with five home riders on top.
It was only these five riders that managed to clear the first round set at 1.55m, to move on to the jump-off where four of them yet again kept a clean sheet. Fastest of them all was Philip Rüping on the 10-year-old mare Clinta (Clinton x Lord Pezi), who stopped the clock at 31.01 seconds. Rüping was followed by Christian Kukuk on Cordess 2 (Clinton x Heartbreaker) with a time of 32.25 seconds, while Marco Kutscher finished third on Quadros 3 (Quidam de Revel x Corrado I) in 33.74 seconds.
The slowest double-clear belonged to Heiko Schmidt on Chap 47 (Cellestial x Contender) who took care of the fourth place, while Andreas Kreuzer ended fifth with 12 faults against the clock aboard Quick Jumper (Quidam's Rubin x Escudo I).
