At the age of 17, Mic Mac du Tillard (Cruising x Galoubet A) was officially retired yesterday during the Longines Global Champions Tour of Paris.

Mic Mac du Tillard has had a long and extremely successful career that includes a team bronze medal at the 2013 European Championships in Herning and a World Cup win from Gothenburg in 2011 – both with Angelica Augustsson in the saddle. The mare has a long number of international victories, both with Augustsson and David Will  – who took over the reins in 2014 when Augustsson moved from Dietmar Gugler to work at Ashford Farm – from Aachen, Hamburg, Cannes, Miami, Madrid, Vienna, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dortmund, Nörten-Hardenberg, Mannheim, Pforzheim, Münster, Samorin, München and Kiel.

Mic Mac du Tillard will now move back to Elevage du Tillard in Normandy where she was born, and devote herself to breeding.
