Stratégies, the reference brand in communications and media marketing, awarded its Silver Trophy to the Longines Masters Series, at the 10th Edition of the Grand Prix Stratégies du Sport ttoday, in the “Event Operation” category. Founded by Belgian Christophe Ameeuw and his teams at EEM, the company that created, organizes and owns the event, the Longines Masters Series has roots in Europe, Asia and America – in the foremost metropolises, Paris Hong Kong and New York, and is recognized as one of the world's most prestigious equestrian events.

The Grand Prix Stratégies du Sport 2017, dedicated to shining the spotlight on the best in sports communication, wished to commend the unique nature of the Longines Masters series and confirmed its place amongst the greatest sporting events worldwide. Bringing together the best in equestrian sports and lifestyle on three continents, the event was honored, among 150 projects, with a Silver Trophy, ex-aequo with the happening campaign driven by Perrier – Roland Garros, just behind the ambitious “Paris Olympic Game 2024” project, supported by Mairie de Paris.

“We are very happy to have received this distinction, a reward for our determination to magnify equestrian sports and bring them to the front of the international stage, alongside some of the biggest events and brands of sport industry. Thanks to the Longines Masters, we offer to our sport some of the finest showcases in Europe, Asia and America, and invite a wide audience to enjoy in a unique experience”, stated Christophe Ameeuw, CEO of EEM and Founder of the Longines Masters series.

Whether in Paris, Hong Kong or New York, the Longines Masters series brings together, under one roof, the best in equestrian sports, lifestyle and show, in a 6* setting. Recognized by the International Equestrian Federation and counting toward the World Show Jumping Rankings, the series has already been commended on each of its markets:

  • From its very first year, the American stage was voted “best indoor showjumping competition in America” by the North American Riders Group.
  • In 2016, the Hong Kong stage won the award for “best experience at a professional sporting event”, at the Sports Industry Awards & Conference.

For nearly 15 years now, visionary Christophe Ameeuw and his teams at EEM have been guided by a single aspiration: to champion equestrian sports and bring them to the widest possible audiences. More than the best in sports, the Longines Masters Series also offers all audiences, whether with a passing interest or passionate followers, a unique multi-cultural experience that celebrates lifestyle, luxury, fashion, gastronomy, and music on three continents, a story that unfolds across Europe, Asia and America, with tagline #WERIDETHEWORLD.

Season III of the Longines Masters of Paris will open this year with its European stage, in Paris, from 30 November to 3 December at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center – hall 5B – parallel to the Paris Horse Show. The competition will continue in Hong Kong from 9-11 February 2018, and New York, from 26-29 April 2018.
