Martin Fuchs is a man on a mission, and took his third Grand Prix win for 2018 when topping Sunday’s CSI3* 1.55m GLOCK's Grand Prix worth 100,000 Euros.

Eleven riders cleared the first-round track that counted thirteen obstacles, to move on to the jump-off that much to the joy of the home crowds at GLOCK's Horse Performance Center counted two home riders: Valerie Wick (AUT) and Julia Kayser-Houtzager (AUT).

But it was 25-year-old Martin Fuchs (SUI) who took the full risk to take his third Grand Prix victory in Treffen – he also won here in 2012 (CSI3*) and 2017 (CSI5*). In the saddle of Cool And Easy, a 14-year-old Holsteiner by Contender, the winner of the five-star Grand Prix classes in Zurich and Basel was unbeatable with his 43.30 seconds.

"I have been riding Cool and Easy only since November. He is an incredibly fast horse, who is always super at the shows. With Hans-Dieter Dreher he has already won five-star Grand Prix classes, and I certainly hope that he will succeed with me too," said the happy winner. "It's one of my favourite shows here at GLOCK Horse Performance Center because it addresses the needs of riders, horses and grooms. My horses and I feel very comfortable here, and that is also reflected in the results."

Kristaps Neretnieks (LAT) and Moon Ray (Cornet Obolensky x Contender) finished second with a time of 43.98 seconds while third place went to Wilm Vermeir (BEL) and DM Jacqmotte (Toulon x Indoctro) in 44.93 seconds. GLOCK rider Gerco Schröder (NED) and his top horse GLOCK's London (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) finished fourth, while fifth place went to the winners of Saturday’s main class – Christophe Vanderhasselt (BEL) on Identity Vitseroel (Air Jordan Z x Darco).
