Saturday's Grand Prix in Paris went to Daniel Deusser (GER) riding the lovely 14-year-old gelding Cornet (Cornet Obolensky x Caletto I). The 1,55m class over two rounds was open for horses not competing in the World Cup Final on Sunday as well as for riders not taking part in the final.

As last to go in the jump-off, Deusser pushed down four home riders a rank when being more than a second faster than runner-up Patrice Delaveau (FRA) on Aquila HDC (Ovidius x Bollvorm's Lauriston). Three French riders followed on the result list: Cedric Angot with Saxo de la Cour (Tlaloc M x Jalisco B) finished third, Simon Delestre with Chadino (Chacco-Blue x Narew xx) fourth and Reynald Angot with Symphonie des Biches (Kannan x Damiro B) fifth.
