The last class of the day at CHIO Aachen was the 1.50m Prize of StädteRegion Aachen, that went to Canada's Eric Lamaze and Chacco Kid (Chacco-Blue x Come On).
Coming in a little over half-way in the class, Lamaze produced a lightning fast round on the 12-year-old gelding to stop the clock at 36.71 seconds in phase two of the competition. Philipp Weishaupt (GER) had perhaps already put away his hopes of catching up when going straight after Lamaze's brakeless round, but nevertheless slotted into second place with his time of 37.64 on Lasse K (Le Carolus x Zapateado).
After her fall in the Turkish Airlines-Prize of Europe, Laura Kraut (USA) was hungry for revenge and jumped to third place aboard Deauville S (Diamant de Semilly x Lux Z) with a time of 37.66 seconds. Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) and Dana Blue followed in fourth, and Daniel Deusser (GER) on Equita Van 'T Zorgvliet (Cassini I x Darco) in fifth.
