It was a surprising Belgian Championship for seniors on Saturday afternoon, with a second round that turned out to be all-decisive for the podium. Only three combinations managed to stay clear in this round, earning the medals.
The first one to stay clear was Pieter Clemens, who counted on his 11-year-old Horizon de Regor (Obourg x Cento). Clemens was followed by Arnaud Doem. This 26-year-old rider participated in the championship with Edgard de Prefontaine, a 8-year-old son of Contact van de Heffinck x Orlando taking over the lead with his overall score of 3.82 penalties.
After Doem, only Dominique Hendrickx managed to note another clear round earning him the title with the 8-year-old Kannabis van de Bucxtale (Contact van de Heffinck x Concorde) finishing on an overall score of 2.88 penalties. The duo already won the CSI3* Grand Prix in Knokke last month, while they also won the main class during CSI3* Knokke.
