After the third individual qualifier on Friday at the FEI World Equestrian Games 2018, Germany's Simone Blum and DSP Alice (Askari x Landrebell) lead the way on the overall standings.
With 2.47 penalty points, Blum is followed by Austria's Max Kühner with Chardonnay (Clarimo x Corrado I) as rank two on 2.97 points and Switzerland's Martin Fuchs with Clooney (Cornet Obolensky x Ferragamo) less than a pole away on 4.68 points. Italy's Lorenzo De Luca sits fourth on 5.19, and USA's McLain Ward fifth on 6.08.
The 25 best horse-and-rider combinations will take part in the first round of the individual final that is scheduled for Sunday, at 9.45 (Tryon, NC time). The second round will start at 12.35 (Tryon, NC time) with the twelve best horse-and-rider combinations in it.
