On Saturday the 13th of October the 13th edition of the Swedish Select Horse Sale will be held during the Elmia Scandinavian Horse Show in Jönköping. At 19.00 hrs the first horse will enter the ring, jump loose and be sold by auctioneer and international showjumper Royne Zetterman.

“We are very happy with this year’s selection” says Royne, one of the four founders of the auction. “The quality of the 3-year old horses offered for auction is improving every year and this year we strongly feel that we have the best selection in the history of the auction”. 

In the pedigree of the 34 selected 3-year olds we find international blood lines from internationally proven stallions such as Balou du Rouet, Casall, Cornet Obolensky and Diamant de Semilly.

During the 12 years of the auction several of the sold horses have become internationally successful show jumpers such as this years bronze medalist at the WEG in Tryon, Bianca (Balou du Rouet x Cardento) with Steve Guerdat and Queen Elisabeth (King Louie x Iowa) with Jack Whitaker.
