The first Longines Masters of Lausanne will be launched in 20 days. After Paris, Hong Kong and New York, the prestigious international series will inaugurate its new Swiss stopover from June 20 to 23.

Are you hesitating to join us for the new Swiss stage of the Longines Masters? Pay attention then, here are some reasons you won't be able to resist...

1. FOR GREAT SPORT

Four days of competition, challenging events and the best riders in the world: it seems obvious that the Longines Masters of Lausanne is above all an essential event for leading show jumping athletes... and for real fans of the sport! Several international events, plus height records in the Masters Power and speed records in the now traditional Longines Speed Challenge —the program promises to be breathtaking. The highlight of this Swiss event will be the Longines Grand Prix of Lausanne, which will take place on Sunday and will undoubtedly bring its share of emotions.

2. TO DISCOVER A NEW DISCIPLINE

Thanks to the Noroc company, on June 21, discover a different facet of the show and dive into the heart of the discipline of vaulting. These artists will offer you a unique demonstration combining dance, acrobatics and equestrian art, and will take you on a captivating and fascinating journey.

3. FOR THE ATMOSPHERE

The Longines Masters of Lausanne is also an opportunity to celebrate. And what an opportunity it is: on June 21, we will celebrate the Fête de la Musique together on the grounds of the event. As master of ceremonies, Henri PFR will have the public and riders dancing all night long. After kicking off all the after-parties of the Longines Masters Season IV, the 23-year-old Belgian DJ does not intend to stop there. Go to the stage to (re)discover the achievements of this young talent.

4. FOR THE ART OF LIVING

The Lavaux region, which runs along the shores of Lake Leman, is not only a paradise for beautiful landscapes lovers. It is a place where the pleasures of eating and friendship are cultivated, where many starred chefs honor the riches of the Swiss countryside. So why not take the opportunity to taste one of the local specialities? A glass of chasselas, the region's emblematic grape variety, or a homemade chocolate, for example, are just some of the delicacies to be experienced...

5. FOR THE HAPPINESS OF CHILDREN

Adults are not the only ones who love horses: Just seeing a child's eyes light up as a horse passes by is enough to understand the fascination that this noble animal exerts on all generations. And that's why the Longines Masters of Lausanne also wants to be a place of celebration for the youngest. With coloring activities, balloons and a make-up stand, they’re bound to feel at home.

6. TO STROLL BY THE LAKE

The Longines Masters of Lausanne, is a horseshow with lake views. Its exceptional location also allows visitors to discover the charming docks next to Lake Leman. In a few steps, you will find yourself in the heart of sumptuous gardens that slope gently down to the water. The more sporty may opt for a ride on a pedal boat, or take to the steep streets of the Waldensian capital to discover its old medieval city.

7. TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR SPORTING HISTORY

It is one of Lausanne's must-see attractions and one of Switzerland's most visited museums: The Olympic Museum bears the sporting colors of the Waldensian capital and is located just a few hundred meters from the Longines Masters site.

8. FOR THE PRESTIGE VILLAGE

On the outskirts of the large sand track on which the athletes compete lies the Prestige Village, a charming, completely free and open space where you can stroll between shops, stages and tasting booths. Prestigious equestrian & lifestyle exhibitors are on hand. A great way to enhance your visit and meet new people.

9. FOR THE SHOW

Six horses, two dogs, two falcons and an eagle: these are Santi Serra’s partners during his four performances on the track of the Longines Masters of Lausanne. Every Santi Serra show is like an enchanted interlude, a moment of grace and humor that you’ll never forget.

10. TO RELAX
