The third collection of the KWPN Online Foal Auction went online. In total, 37 foals, 24 jumping and 13 dressage foals are searching for a new owner. Bids can be made from Friday and bidding will close on Monday 9 September from 8 pm CET. New in this auction is that for the first time an embryo is being auctioned! The dam is the half-sister of Explosion W (s.Chacco-Blue), the silver medalist of the European Championship in Rotterdam two weeks ago. And none other than Chacco-Blue signs also for the paternity of this foal.

Explosion W jumped the one impressive lap after another during the European Championship in Rotterdam under Ben Maher. With fantastic technique, unlimited scope and a great canter, the pair managed to secure team bronze for Great Britain. On the final day, with only a small difference with the gold medal, they won a wonderful individual silver.

Explosion W's dam, the Baloubet Du Rouet daughter Uarina, jumped under her sports name Untouchable at international 1.55m level ridden by Leon Thijssen. In addition to Explosion W, she also produced the international 1.45m horse Boncetto W (by Concetto Famos). Her daughter Zarina III (s.Heartbreaker) is the dam of the unique embryo that will now be auctioned digitally. This mare already had her son, the stallion Liamant W (by Diamond De Semilly), selected for performance testing at the KWPN Stallion Show this year and finished third in the championship ring. Later this year this stallion was approved for breeding by Zangersheide. Explosion W is very closely related to the embryo in this auction, both are by Chacco-Blue, who had no less than four offspring in the individual finals of the European Championships.

In addition to top sire Chacco-Blue, we also find offspring of Harley VDL, as well as Arezzo VDL, Dallas VDL, Falaise De Muze, Up To Date, Freeman VDL, and the young stallions Kensington ES, Hermantico, Jumper Verdi, Comthago, Impressive VDL, Glenfiddich VDL, Jardonnay VDL, Jukebox, Cantona TN and Chapeau TN on the list. The dressage foals have Governor, Imposantos, Zenon, Dettori, Sandro Hit, High Five US, Indian Rock, Taminiau, Incognito and harness horse stallion Eebert on father's side.

The dam of the colt Opario (by Harley VDL) is a full sister of the KWPN approved stallion Fire (by Vleut) which is competing at 1.50m level. The granddam of Malito De Reves-son Oakley SZ is a half-sister of the international 1.60m Grand Prix horse Que Pasa 5 (by Quite Easy I) of the Russian rider Aleksandr Lis and of the international 1.40 jumper Ronaldo (by Goodtimes) who was ridden by Helena Weinberg. The international 1.50m horses Bling Bling BW (by Regilio), Cupido (by Cantos) and Wolina (by Sheraton) also come from this dam line. Dallas VDL son On My Own also has a granddam who is a half-sister of an international Grand Prix horse: Santiago W (by Calvaro Z) of the Hungarian Gyula Szuhai.

© KWPN The dam of Ortis-K (by Impressive VDL) is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix showjumper Vivaldi K (by Indoctro).

Impressive VDL-son Ortis-K and Glenfiddich VDL son Orbón-K both have the same grand dam. This Nimmerdor-daughter Kirsinaa already produced the international Grand Prix horse Vivaldi K (by Indoctro) from the Danish rider Andreas Schou. She is also known as the dam of the Canadian 1.40m horse Tamourette K and of two 1.30m horses. From this dam line also descend the international Grand Prix horses Ucorado B (by Gran Corrado), Big Brother (by Untouchable) and Sietse (by Monaco).
