Thank you Fibonacci!

Thank you

Earlier this month, it was announced that the now 14-year-old Fibonacci (For Feeling x Corland) had been retired from the sport. Starting his career in Sweden with Stephanie Holmén, the white gelding went on to conquer hearts all over the world – first with Germany's Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum in the saddle and since 2017 with USA's Lillie Keenan.

With Michaels-Beerbaum, Fibonacci jumped to team silver at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen as well as to team bronze at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The pair was also on the winning German team in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Aachen back in 2016 as well as winning the CSI5* Suncast Grand Prix in Wellington in 2015 – to mention some of their many top results.

Lillie Keenan took over the ride on Fibonacci in 2017, and the pair went on to compete successfully at five-star level – being part of USA's winning team at the CSIO5* Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ that same year. Keenan also won her first international Grand Prix with Fibonacci.

Fibonacci has now returned to his former rider Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum’s yard in Germany to enjoy his retirement, together with super-stars such as Shutterfly and Checkmate.

With this photo special, we wish Fibonacci a happy retirement and look back at some of the many magic moments in his career.
