In one week, the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour is back – this time with its autumn edition. The Autumn MET 2019 is split into two tours, the first one running from October 1-20 and the second from October 29-November 17. Both tours offer two weeks of CSIYH, CSI1* and CSI2* competitions as well as a last week of CSIYH, CSI1* and CSI3* competitions. The tour is as always a popular destination for riders from all over the world, and no less than 700 horses are entered for the Autumn MET 2019. Some of the world’s best and most experienced riders are coming to Oliva Nova in October: Ben Maher (GBR) – individual silver and team bronze medallist from this year’s European Championships in Rotterdam – as well as multiple Grand Prix winners Julien Epaillard (FRA), Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER), Pius Schwizer (SUI), Cameron Hanley (IRL), David Will (GER) and Katharina Offel (GER) who will be competing alongside young talents such as Emily Moffitt (GBR), Harry Allen (IRL) and Constant Van Paesschen (BEL).

"We feel privileged that so many of the biggest names in the sport return season after season to our venue here in Oliva Nova," says Bettina Pöhls, MET Event Director. "New for this year's edition is the third week of competition during Autumn MET I, which has been well received.
