Half of the world's top twenty and six current champions in the ring in Lyon

The Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Western European League moves on to the Longines Equita Lyon Concours Hippique International this week for its third stop, attracting the best riders in the world including ten of the twenty best on the world ranking and six current champions.

On the list of riders is world number one, Switzerland's Steve Guerdat – 2012 Olympic Champion and three-time winner of the Longines FEI World Cup Final, his fellow countryman Martin Fuchs – current world number two and reigning European Champion, Germany's Daniel Deusser – the third best rider in the world and winner of the circuit's final in the Lyon arena in 2014. 

Half of the world's top twenty will travel to Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and the following riders are expected: Pieter Devos (BEL), Niels Bruynseels (BEL), Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA), Marcus Ehning (GER) and then some of the best home riders led by their current Olympic Champion team members Pénélope Leprévost, Roger-Yves Bost, Philippe Rozier and Kevin Staut.
