From press release from Zeitgeist Equestrian
Zeitgeist Equestrian, the California based stables of husband and wife-team Sanjay Bagai and Phoebe Lang, has purchased Chadino (Chacco Blue x Narew) from former world no. one Simon Delestre. Chadino will in the future be seen under Phoebe Lang as she builds her string for the top sport.
Simon Delestre took over the reins on the 14-year-old stallion in late 2016, and has since then guided Chadino to a successful career. In 2017, the pair attended the World Cup Final in Omaha and in 2018 the World Cup Final in Paris. In 2016, Simon and Chadino competed in the 16th Rolex IJRC Top Ten Final in Geneva. Delestre piloted Chadino to podium finishes at CSI3* Valence (2019), CSI5* Bordeaux (2019), CSIO5* Sopot (2019), CSI5* Lausanne (2017) and CSI5* Berlin (2017).
In 2014, with Ferenc Szentirmai in the saddle, Chadino represented Ukraine at the World Equestrian Games in Caen and in 2016 the pair attended the Olympic Games in Rio De Janerio.
"We are very honored and feel blessed to have acquired this incredible horse from Simon Delestre. Our true hope is that we can keep him as healthy, happy and jumping as well as he is at the incredible stables of Mr Delestre. For Phoebe who will be Chadino's partner this is an incredible opportunity to be the partner of this super experienced and talented athlete. Our private show stable continuously strives to improve in every aspect of our horsemanship and this seems like the next obvious step in Phoebe's riding career.
Phoebe and I would like to extend our deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Melanie Lemoine Jondet of Ecuries Melanie Lemoine Jondet, who has very professionally made the introduction between Simon and us," reads a statement from Zeitgeist Equestrian.
