Press release from CHIO Aachen

The prize money for three of the most important and most famous competitions at the CHIO Aachen (May 29th – June 7th, 2020) has been doubled. In the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup on the Thursday evening (June 4th), the best showjumpers in the world will in future be battling it out for one million Euros (June 4th). In the Turkish Airlines-Prize of Europe (on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 under floodlights for the first time) and in the RWE Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia (Friday, June 5th) the prize money totals 200,000 Euros.

The overall prize money at the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen, amounts to just under 3.5 million Euros.
