After a short and successful partnership, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Virtuose d’Eole (Panama Tame x Helios de la Cour II) part ways as the 11-year-old mare has been sold to Mexico.
Modolo Zanotelli got the ride on the mare in November last year, and quickly had success with her – the pair was 3rd in the 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix of Stockholm in December and finished the 1.60m CSI5* World Cup in Mechelen with a single time fault. Previously, Virtuose d’Eole was seen under Charles Luyckx (RSA), Michael Hughes (USA) and Cedric Angot (FRA).
“Virtuose d’Eole was a fantastic mare for me,” Modolo Zanotelli comments to World of Showjumping. “I only did four shows with her but in all four she was clear in the Grand Prix. I am looking forward to seeing her with her new rider and I’m sure they will be very successful together. I would also like to thank Ashford Farm for trusting me with the mare. I still have a close relationship to Enda, and we have also invested in some youngsters together for the future,” Modolo Zanotelli explains.
