2nd Holsteiner Online Foal Auction Sale with top genetics

Following the successful Holsteiner Verband marketing and auction GmbH online and hybrid auction sale, the team round executive director Roland Metz has put together another choice selection of promising prospects from this year’s crop as 15 lots with highly interesting pedigrees are put up for auction on 24 and 25 July 2020. 

Well-established star sires, Holsteiner mare families with high-achieving sport horse offspring and up-and-coming young sires – the auction lots boast relations in high places and on the international scene.

Lot no. 5, a filly by Comme il faut-Corrado I, comes from mare family 8769 and her 4th dam is the renowned sport horse producer Baltic: The Capitol I daughter produced several licensed sons including Stauffenberg, Lamont or Cipriano as well as numerous show jumping offspring successful to 1.50m level.

As much as two auction candidates come from the high-achieving mare family 1916: Lot no 7, a colt by Echo van’t Spieveld-Mylord Carthago, as well as lot no. 4, a colt by Million Dollar-Caretino, carry the exceptional Holsteiner mare Wodka II on the dam’s side. Her stud career yielded 17 foals, eight of which went on to collect placings at S level and she left her mark in the Holsteiner studbook by producing the licensed stallions Arturo, Conway I and II as well as Clearway. The second dam of lot no. 1, a filly by Belgium-licensed Origi d’O, the highest-priced stallion of his approval, boasts great results through 1.60m level. Heroine de Muze’s achievements include placings at Samorin, Sopot and Athens and this promising filly carrying international bloodlines is out of her daughter, Nikita de Muze by Nabab de Reve.

Lot no. 10 is a colt by young Belgian sire Poker de Mariposa out of a dam placed to 1.40m level, Sunrider by Caretino in her term is out of Cambrina, a mare boasting produce like the 1.60m level horses Lenitas (Patrick Stühlmeyer) and Lord Lenitas (Grace Hooper) as well as Cristallo (Richard Spooner), once on top of the WBFSH ranking. And the other auction candidates by sires like Casall, Cascadello I, Clearway, Kannan, Hardrock Z or Quickly de Kreisker combine gems of the Holsteiner breed and international blood, as well.

The collection is released on Friday, 17 July 2020, on www.holsteiner-verband.de.

Bids can be placed from 24 July, with the bid up starting on Saturday, 25 July at 6 o’clock pm. In order to secure your favourite, you have to register online in advance. The Holsteiner Verband website also provides videos and detailed information on the foals as well as all necessary information about the online auction.
