The 11-year old KWPN mare Evita (Canturano x Farmer) has been acquired by Marbill Hill Farm for Canada’s rising star Sam Walker. Evita has had a successful career in Europe under world number one Steve Guerdat and formerly with Kevin Jochems – with victories from Busto Arsizio, Lier, Samorin and Vejer de la Frontera on her record.

“I am so excited about the opportunity to show another fabulous mare for Marbill Hill Farm,” Walker comments to World of Showjumping. “Evita is an incredibly special mare that will be a great addition to Marbill Hill. They have a genuinely nice group of horses that they breed, and they also own Coralissa – one of my other top horses.”

“I would like to thank my long-time sponsors Marion Cunningham and Bill Tilford of Marbill Hill for their continued support of me as a Canadian Team Member. Thanks also to my parents Scott and Dee, and our agent Lexy Reed for finding me this horse,” Walker closes off.
