An Irish win for Dermott Lennon and MJM Pursuit in Vejer de la Frontera

It only took 64.54 seconds for Irish rider Dermott Lennon to secure the win in Friday's CSI3* 1.45m Longines Ranking class in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, which saw 50 competitors enter the David Broome arena. Lennon rode the mare MJM Pursuit (Aldato x Limmerick) to victory. 

Bruce Goodin and Backatorps Danny V (Quasimodo Z x Lupicor) finished in runner-up position, after stopping the clock at 65 seconds. Third place went to Matthew Sampson (GBR) on Paul Walker (Perigueux x Cornet Obolensky) in 66.83 seconds, while Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) on Cleartoon (Carthago x Voltaire) was best for the hosts in fourth followed by Julie Welles (USA) on Undercover (Luidam x Le Tot de Semilly) in fifth.
