On the 7th of December, the 6th collection of the HSH Auction goes under the hammer. This year it’s a virtual one, due to the corona virus. This has not stopped the HSH organization from selecting a group of quality sport horses.
In 2015, the first edition of the auction took place. Young entrepreneurs Aniek Diks, Sjors van Oorschot and Jesse Cranen turned their concept into a successful format. Once again, they have convinced their customer base with a selection of 25 jumper horses.
“Despite this year being different from what we are used to, we have already received many inquiries for our auction horses. It is a broad collection that offers a horse for every rider. We have high expectations for all horses, and I think that professionals looking for that true gem can also find that here. Every year, we try to gather a collection of quality sport horses and I think we have succeeded to do so for this edition too,” says show jumping rider Aniek Diks.
Colleague Jesse Cranen continues: “Of course, it’s a pity that this year is an online edition; the atmosphere during the physical auction is unique. However, health comes first so we go online this year. Where buyers normally have the possibility to admire the horses in real life, they now have to assess them based on the photos and videos. I can state with certainty that each and every auction horse has a good model, a strong manner of jumping and a good, honest story. If you buy a horse in the online HSH Auction, you will be positively surprised at home. These are horses for the future.”
This is the first time for the auction to take place online, but in the last five editions the trio has built a strong reputation. “We now reap the benefits of this reputation. We have been offered lots of good horses that we are keen on auctioning. Over the years, we have built an extensive customer base that comes back annually to buy at the auction. This year may be an excellent opportunity to expand our customer portfolio with international clients. We do not only offer top jumper horses for sale, but also a number of hunter prospects. This may be very interesting for the American market,” reveals Sjors van Oorschot.
The auction opens on December 5th at 10.00hrs and closes on December 7th from 19.00hrs onwards. The collection can be found via this link. Bidding is possible after registration on the auction website.
